The annual Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival hit the grounds of one of our favourite local brewers, Steam Whistle this past weekend and we were there for the second consecutive year. Very much like the previous year, the vibe was super relaxed and friendly with delicious gourmet food offerings and bands playing throughout the day. And of course beer. Thirty of Ontario’s best craft brewers were onsite providing samples of their nectar of the gods and we tried them all. Although the grounds are located smack dab in the centre of the city surrounded by sky scrapers and highways, the feeling within was one of an oasis, free from the pressure and pace of big city life.  It’s become a yearly tradition for us and we can’t wait for the winter addition though we hope the weather is not nearly as cold as it was last year.  But at least the beer won’t get warm!
