Believe it or not, July is almost over. For music lovers that means that the festival season clock is ticking ever closer to midnight. With the last weekends of summer ahead every minute counts: and so Time Festival beckons.

Step On Magazine is excited to announce our Time Festival Ticket giveaway. The winner will recieve two VIP passes to Time Festival on Saturday August 6th.

Time started in 2008 as a celebration of both international talent in Electronic music and a platform for up-and-coming local Electronic acts. The festival has also come to be known for the light impact that it has on your wallet – general admission tickets start at $20, making it only a few bucks more expensive than your standard evening concert at the city’s more intimate venues.

This year’s TIME Festival, with over 30 performers focuses on the ever-present relationship between Hip hop and Electronic with unmissable headliners Run the Jewels, the young collaboration between Hip hop legends El-P and Killer Mike.

Newly added this year is a second Electronic stage, called the Overtime Stage, where you can catch Bob Moses, KiNK and TOKiMONSTA and more.

On our list of acts you can’t miss: Joey Bada$$; Brother and sister duo Broods; Synthpop god Cold Cave; Indie electronic/rock experimenters Everything Everything and Toronto’s very own Harrison.

Embrace presents TIME Festival: Saturday, August 6th at the historic Fort York Commons, (250 Fort York Blvd.) Gates open at 12 p.m. and tickets are still available at http://embracepresents.com/festivals/time-festival/
