A Thousand Hours release their sophomore album Sleep, on July 22. The album finds the northern collective further refining their 4AD infused ethereal style with tracks fuller and far more atmospheric than Endless Grey, their first release. The music is a mix of Dreampop, Shoegaze, Post-Punk and even Darkwave, and blends seamlessly awash with reverb and drifts at a slow pace.

According to song arranger and writer Red Collier:

“We aren’t a band per se. We very much take our cue from This Mortal Coil and rely on a large cast of characters to assemble a large album collage. This album is far grander in scope and styling than out first one, which lends it a wide variant in sound.”

The album will be released July 22 on Vesper Records and is available for pre-order HERE.
