Hostile Tribes in Paul Baird, a Mancunian with an interesting past. At age sixteen he was the guitarist in the Manchester punk band Breather, but suddenly departed the band to pursue painting and philosophy, just before the band was to sign with RCA records. He also fronted Dream Pop bands Glass, I See Angels, and Just Everywhere. Once again, when interest in him was piquing, he chose to temporarily music to raise a famiy.
